Welcome to The Annex
The perfect blend of chic modernity and the romantic past
The Annex neighborhood in downtown Toronto borders the University of Toronto. Many of its residents are university faculty members and students, and as such, the atmosphere is vibrant and eclectic. However, there is more to The Annex than that. Many of the historical buildings are protected by the Toronto Historical Board, and they include beautiful Edwardian and Victorian homes. This blend of the new and the old makes The Annex irresistible.
The Yorkville district is adjacent to the heart of The Annex and is included in its overall territory. The Yorkville area is home to some of the most sophisticated, exclusive, and luxurious shopping experiences in Canada. Interspersed among the posh shops are wide sidewalks for strolling, flower gardens, and contemporary art. Also present are luxury hotels and upscale, fine dining restaurant establishments. The synergy between the romance of the historical architecture and the vibrant energy of collegiate life makes The Annex a highly sought-after neighborhood.
